Nature protection in Victoria – taking stock, looking forward. Laws and institutions that protect nature in Victoria are either in a state of neglect or going backwards. It’s a depressing picture but one what we need to be clear about if we are to turn things around and begin the process of imagining a better future. A discussion was lead by Brendan Sydes and was joined by Matt Ruchel from the VNPA who talked about conservation priorities for protecting Victoria’s Natural Heritage.
